We know that it can be intimidating on your first visit with our fertility clinic.

We know that a doctor’s office, in general, is enough to make some nervous.  This is why we want to provide an explanation of what you can expect on your first visit to the Lexington Fertility Center.  First off, we are a small welcoming facility, so don’t expect a large waiting room with a lot of starring faces.  We are one on one, and you will more than likely be the only patient at our facility.

Upon your first visit, we ask for curiosity. Bring a notepad with all of your questions and concerns. We will provide an in-depth explanation fertility treatments, and how we weigh out an individualized treatment plan that will give the greatest possibility of success.  Your initial consultation will include an hour meeting with one of our doctors as well as a comprehensive fertility evaluation.  Below we have provided some of our most common questions about a first visit.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Please bring any previous medical records that may be pertinent to your fertility health. This may include any previous fertility tests, semen analysis, and gynecological tests.

Does my partner need to come to the first visit?

We believe that a support system can be comforting throughout each step of a treatment plan, so we encourage your partner to come with you although it is not required.

Do you treat out of town patients?

Yes, we treat patients near and far.

How long should I expect to undergo treatment?

Most of our patients will have a pregnancy within six months of treatment.  This depends on a lot of factors including one’s own biology, so it is difficult to pin down a true time frame for treatment.
